Raises Over $20K For Youth The Maui Hotel & Lodging Association held its annual golf tournament at the Wailea Old Blue Course on August 24 to benefit the following scholarship programs: University of Hawaii Maui College Culinary Arts and Hospitality & Tourism; Academy of Hospitality & Tourism at Baldwin, Lahainaluna and Maui high schools; Maui Junior Golf, and the MHLA Member Scholarship Program. And it comes as great news to the beneficiaries that the MHLA was able to raise over $21K to support the aforementioned youth scholarships. American Cancer Society Hosts Ball at Grand Wailea On August 11th at 5pm in the Grand Wailea, the American Cancer Society will hold its inaugural Hope Ball: A Small World, A Big Purpose. Festival Honors Maui-Grown Coffee

As the Wailea community continues to evolve and new events are introduced, the Maui Coffee Association, theMaui County Farm Bureau  and the Shops at Wailea announced a partnership in developing the first coffee event in South Maui. Maui Artists Are Encouraged to Participate Maui has long been a magnet to some of the most inspiring artists in the world. And now, the Wailea Resort Association has ask for entries to its first annual “Art, Wine & Food” competition. Scheduled to take place from December 6th to the 9th, this event may very well become THE culinary/art extravaganza of the Pacific. The Wailea Resort is proud to announce the return of the ever popular, Restaurant Week Wailea. This celebration of Wailea’s finest cuisine will take place at 16 participating resort restaurants throughout Wailea from Sunday, May 20, through Saturday, May 26. Each participating restaurant has agreed to make a contribution to the Maui Food Bank for every pre-fixe entre sold during Restaurant Week Wailea, as part of the resorts community giving.
